*Chapter 1: Banishment

After a war between elves and humans ravaged Earth, everything changed. Humans were enslaved and elves were now put in charge. Other supposedly fictional creatures like vampires, werewolves, and warlocks became the major population because they no longer had to hide in fear of being torn from their lives. Rumors even say that the Elves may have had help.

Now, cars are no longer used and horses are a more valid form of transportation. There is no president but a single set of men that tell everybody what to do and chaos is common. It's every man is for himself and this theory doesn't really help shifter Ember Evania out at all. Where she came from is already unknown, most of her clan doesn't trust her in the slightest, and one slip up could cost her everything.

Then, as luck would have it, she sees something she isn't supposed to and when she gets caught red handed by some official or high-up, he bites her with a threat on her life. The thing is, as wild as Evania is, she bites back.
