When Thorin Oakenshield and his band of dwarves embark upon a dangerous quest to reclaim their home from Smaug Gandalf suggests 2 unlikely accomplice : Bilbo Baggins and a lone elf woman by the name of Carnen . As they journey from the wonders of Rivendell to Mirkwood and far beyond, Carnen learns things about herself that she never knew. Kili the youngest of Thorins nephews also finds incredible things.
