Summer of 1998 summed up for Christie Carter- she made out with the new boy in school, she was crowned the new champion of Mario Kart 64, and she and her baby sister were made orphans at the hands of a drunk driver Christie was sixteen-years old when her parents died. She didn't have to wait very long to receive custody of her sister and she even got married to ensure the adoption process. Her rush to grow up made the next sixteen years of her life dull and uninteresting, attempting to keep her past in the past. It's the year 2014. Adrian Carter is the "It" girl at school. She knows everybody and their business, can hold her own liquor, and destroys relationships faster than the blink of an eye. She's made it to second base with nearly every boy in her school and is infamously known for her "tricks" on the nerds of the school. Christie never had to deal with the consequences of her actions when she was sixteen. Adrian thinks she doesn't have any. When the past catches up to Christie and the present starts dangerous trouble for Adrian, these two sisters will have to deal with their personal demons while also dealing with each other.
