Description
I live in a world where all of those creatures you see in horror movies and in your fairytales are real. Vampires, Werewolves, Ghosts, Whisps, Witches, and worst of all The Haunted. The Haunted are the worst of them all. Centuries ago hunters believed these creatures were demons based on the fact they had powers and were first discovered when the hunters got a call about a seance that went horribly wrong. My many 'greats' grandfather was the one that discovered and identified the species. He was also the one that caused their extinction. The Haunted are only taught to hunters in our history class. They are creatures that can feed on souls and blood. They have extreme powers, like mind control and super hearing. They share qualities with all the underworld creatures. Immortality is the most commonly shared of the bunch. The main thing that isn't shared that separates The Haunted and other underworld creatures.... They can disguise themselves as anything they want. It was a good thing they were no longer relevant to our world. That's what we all thought.
