lightning below the grass
in the comfort of sheltering shade
every promise made broken.
almost as soon as spoken.
Angry earthquake after dark
Captive of misdirected tremors spark
Raging wildfires destroying all in its way
While newly homeless search place to stay
Approaching hurricane still nameless rages
Awaiting populace taken shelter in shelters of straw
Within eye of storm become easy prey in cages
Not unlike this last one which came the night before.
Blazing tornado spins its tale of woe to all in its path.
A population of Dorothys' captured within each torrential pirouette.
When the dust settles search and recovery in the aftermath.
Accruing damage and injuries never will forget.
