Joining the Army straight after high school graduation and serving as a sniper with the Green Berets for almost three years before her brother's accident taught her how to expertly handle a sniper rifle. Then she joined the GCPD to stay near her brother, and shortly after joined the SWAT team due to her skills. It wasn't in her bucket list to kill the Joker and become one of the most famous - or infamous - people in Gotham. Other than that, Ruth is perfectly normal. Her dogs, on the other hand?
