Chauncey is a mystery to nearly everyone he knows. His aloofness and lack of strong outward emotion make him the perfect candidate to be a businessman. He deals and negotiates with no superfluous sentiment, preferring unaccentuated realism. Any hint of romanticism he kept cloistered in his heart was destroyed by the obliteration of his cosmic dreams prior to his meeting The CEO. At least, that's what he'd like to believe.
