"Do you see writing as an escape?"(boy)

"No, that makes my life sound depressing. It's not, my life is perfect."(me)

This is a part of a conversation I had the same day I wrote this. I said it as a joke but truly, I'm lucky to have the life I have. However, it hasn't stopped me from struggling with my mental health and body image. Recently, I've struggled with an eating disorder and, as I writer, I think it may be healthy to write about it.

While this isn't a real story, it takers many aspects from my real life and I encourage this to be a place for those who struggle to find comfort and those who want to learn to be educated.
