Soul-marks were a private thing, so it wasn't weird that Peter Parker never let his wrists go uncovered. There were plenty of reasons why someone hid their marks. 'I don't want anyone else to know my words, they're mine and mine alone,' or 'It hurts too much to see those words and remember the person I lost.' For Peter, however, it was different. Peter never wanted to think about those words again. The ones that tied Peter to him. And years had passed, and Peter was doing okay.
