The Council

Nereida is princess of the naiades, a species of water nymphs that rule the bodies of water around Aurelia. When naiades start to disappear, she starts to investigate only to be captured by Vidarr, the land prince she had once called friend. Locking her in a tower far away from water he demands she give him a weapon that could catastrophically turn the tide of the war, the one weapon Nereida will do anything to keep safe. But if she cannot escape, soon the lack of water in the tower will kill her.
