Old Faces, Same Anger

Pete "Maverick" Mitchell has lost a lot over the years; his best friend, his wife, and the sudden risk of losing his career. After over thirty years of service as a top naval aviator, Maverick has found himself face-to-face with ghosts as he returns to TOPGUN to help train a new and upcoming group of graduates. Amongst rivalries and competition, Maverick must call in reinforcements, one who has a bigger gap between herself and Lt. Bradley Bradshaw - Maverick's daughter, Maddlyn Mitchell, with a dark past of her own.

Amongst facing ghosts and getting past old rivalries, the new recruits must prepare for a specialized mission that will require the ultimate sacrifice from those chosen to fly it.
