Prologue

Stephanie (Stevie) has to deal with the aftermath of a life threatening disease and two young kids by herself when the father of the children leaves her for a younger woman. She finds a job working for Red Bull as a chef in their hospitality where she meets Daniel Ricciardo.

The form a close friendship, but even though there's obviously chemistry between them, she doesn't trust men. Also the scars of her disease left her insecure about her body.

Will Daniel break through her barriers? Can she accept a new man in the life of her children with the risk of them getting hurt in the process?
