Description
Sonic and Shadow, who are happily married, receive a mysterious letter addressed to Sonic. The letter leads him to a location that triggers a sense of familiarity within him. Meanwhile, Cream and Elizabeth Afton are at daycare, while Blaze attends high school - she is a freshman. Curiosity getting the better of him, Sonic decides to investigate the location mentioned in the letter. To his surprise, he finds himself standing in front of an abandoned orphanage, a place he's convinced he has memories of. However, his investigation takes a dark turn as he becomes a captive of Dee, a malevolent entity known for his sinister games (based on Mr. Hopp's Playhouse). News of Sonic's sudden disappearance quickly reaches Shadow, Blaze, Cream, and Elizabeth Afton. Worried and determined to bring Sonic back home safely, they join forces and embark on a mission to find him. Along the way, they encounter obstacles and are faced with their own fears and insecurities. During their search, they stumble upon a woman named Esther, who claims to be Sonic's long-lost mother. Although skeptical at first, they soon discover that Esther holds vital information about Sonic's past and the abandoned orphanage he found himself in. Despite their doubts and reservations, they decide to trust Esther and work together to rescue Sonic.
