Adeline Larkin has always been the role model for her five younger sisters and if that responsibility hadn't carried enough burden she had also been the eldest daughter of two very well-known attorneys in the New England Coast which in a very prevailing fashion had her fulfilling their legacy in which they had planned for her. Feeling a little spread thin she makes her infamous return to Cape Charles the summer before her last year of law school. Believing that reuniting with her sisters would bring about an immense amount of comfort she's instead met with a complicated relationship with her Ex's older brother. Sumner Fabray is the golden child of the Fabray family. Despite being the leading successor to his father's esteemed publishing company, Sumner had always attained the highest regard to even the most cynical skeptics in satisfying his father's role. Though the twenty-seven-year-old may come off as pretentious and arrogant, he has done everything for the sake of his family and who knows of the hardships of this kind of responsibility more than the eldest child. Though his eyes have always been heavily focused on his succession he finds himself in the company of Adeline Larkin whom he hasn't seen since she had said no to his brother's proposal. Their exhausting paths to success have put them in the company of each other but when tensions are high, they must ask themselves if the complicated mess of their relationship will be worth it.
