Description
Elizabeth Carson knows what a life of magic is like - her dad is The Librarian, after all, not that she's spoken to him in over five years, but she's not seen any death notice, so she's assuming he is still The Librarian. In fact, Elizabeth has gone out of her way to make sure she is nothing like her father. She is a well-known, established archaeologist in her own right, moving on from her fantastical past and focusing on establishing a future that's fixed in the real and the solid. That is until someone tries to kill her and her new-ish friends, and suddenly, she's thrust back into a world of magic and the world of The Library that she has spent too many years trying to forget and pretend doesn't actually exist. This also results in her coming face to face with her father once again and the rocky relationship they have. She is not alone, however, as someone is killing off potential Librarians, so there are 4 of them pulled into the madness of The Library - all being offered jobs to work for the ancient fellowship of knowledge and heroism. Travelling the world investigating strange occurrences, battling ancient conspiracies and protecting the innocent from the dangerous, secret world of magic Who knew saving the world once a week, twice before a Friday is even over, would be so complicated? Elizabeth is my character and my only character. Everyone else belongs to TNT.
