I opened the door of my room harshly and found her standing there facing the balcony. The file was on the bed and I walked towards her fuming.

"You couldn't do one simple thing? Can't you come to the office and deliver a file? How hard is it? Now because of your carelessness, we lost the deal. Can't you even be of some use? Marrying you seems like hell already."

"What is it?"

"Iampregnant." I spoke in one go. He shook his head as if trying to break those words.

"What?"

"I. Am. Pregnant." He abruptly stood up from the stool, making it fall down with a thud. He ran his hand through his hair and took a deep breath.

"Abort it."
