When people think of Voldemort, they think that he is Tom Riddle. That is false. Tom Riddle is not Voldemort, and Voldemort is not Tom Riddle. Lania Vernise knows this very well. Lania Vernise knows that although these two facades inhabit the same body, they are not the same. Lania was much like Tom. Conceived under a love potion and unable to feel the effects of romantic feelings. Lania also did not see herself as others. She was more than others. She was better than others. But, she knew what differed between right and wrong. Tom was much like Lania. Also conceived under a love potion and unable to feel the effects of romantic feelings. Tom knew he was better than others, his blood proved that. However, years of trauma and his mind split thus creating Voldemort, so Tom, unlike Lania, did not know what differed between right and wrong.
