When Miles was attacked by rogue vampire Thomson, he withdrew from everyone but his father. Desperate to help his son and out of ideas, Jim agrees to send Miles to Ravenwood Academy, a school full of vampires, hoping against hope that by facing his fears Miles will be able to move on. Miles just hopes he can survive the first day and resist the charms of a vampire named Daxton.
