Description
According to a new leak from a usually reliable source, the OnePlus 12 will be launched in China in December. The "in China" qualifier is important because the global release might happen a few weeks (or months) after that. The phone is currently in engineering sample form, and in this form it sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset at the helm, a 6.7-inch QHD OLED touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate, and a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 100W fast wired charging. The OnePlus 12 has three rear cameras: a 50 MP main, a 50 MP ultrawide, and a 64 MP periscope zoom camera, which would be a first in the OnePlus lineup, although definitely not a first for parent company Oppo. Aside from that, there don't seem to be many exciting hardware upgrades at first glance - the screen is the same size as its predecessor's, with the same resolution and refresh rate, and the use of the next-gen chip is pretty much par for the course.
