Sometime after their nineteenth birthday, twin girls Bethel and Nirvana Brown and their mother Lila have a close encounter with the male robotic being Star Scream and manage to run outside. After making it to a abandoned warehouse, the twin teen girls confront their mother, who reveals to them she in truth is the female robotic being Snowden, daughter of the robotic medic Ratchet, and was bonded to the young male Auto Bot soldier Icehouse before it ended in her becoming a widow when he sacrificed himself to help Ratchet send Snowden, who was carrying twins at the time, to Earth safely nineteen and a half years earlier.
