Cyrus was an 8 year old little girl when she was put into the system because her parents and little brother where killed while she was at a friends house. The killer was caught and got life. But that doesn't help Cyrus. She is put through hell everyday. Constantly having to fight to survive.

She is always over looked on adoption day's, everyone avoiding the beat up and ragged looking kid. Finally, the day after her best friend is finally adopted, so is she.
