Description
As she grew, Mary McDonald always knew that life as a muggle-born witch wasn't going to be easy for her. Not when Voldemort had his strong prejudices against muggles and muggleborns. So her seventh and last year at Hogwarts only becomes all the more difficult for her with the rise of He who must not be named, the war, and the support many pureblood families offered him. Things however, seem to take an interesting turn in her life full of anxiety and unwanted surprises, when Atlas Greengrass, enticing and sassy, transfers to Hogwarts from Ilvermony and begins bugging Mary simply because it's 'fun' successfully seeking her attention every time. They start spending more and more time together. And Mary discovers, he hides quite a lot behind his swooning smiles and pretty eyes and he's all thorns than petals. ❝ We're both parts of the flower, you're petals, i'm thorns .❞ ❝ And ?❞ ❝ And we're both important. The thorns protect the petals from getting crumpled you know .❞ ❝ So you mean to say, you protect me?❞ ❝ Course I do.❞ ❝ How thoughtful, how sweet!❞ ❝ I know.❞ ❝ That was sarcasm!❞ ❝ I know.❞
