Description
Augustine is a timid bookstore owner. She never gets in trouble or ventures out. She has spent her life hidden behind books and anxiety. She's in for a rude awakening when Amari walks into her bookstore one day looking for nothing but trouble. Amari is a powerful and rich mafia leader, which translates to, she gets what she wants when she wants it with no question. Amari is cold, hidden, and mean so she refuses to see Augustine's side of the story when she gets tipped off that Augustine had something to do with a business fall out which causes Amari to pay a visit to her bookstore. Will Amari let it go or will Augustine pay the price for actions she didn't have part in? well obviously I'm not going to answer that question for you dummy. So read the book. Now. Or else.
