But Bobby's status is about to change and not for the better. The only solution available is to either climb down the social ladder or successfully convince Samantha that a certain son of his long time friend, Charles Brown, is a good fit for her for marriage. Samantha is unyielding but as she carries out her mission to frustrate all her father's attempts at convincing her, she soon discovers why her father would do all it takes to remain up on the social ladder, a reason which even she cannot stand against. Faced with many difficulties, Samantha has no choice but to learn to totally rely on God for help.
