Infected. They plagued the city, the people and nowhere was safe. How do you live in a world where every breath could be your last, one bite could take you or your friends and family. It took mine.

Ghouls of dead roamed the town wearing skins of people who once were whole, their brains now black holes only knowing how to find their next meal. I observed down from the roof I was trapped on, hundreds of them surrounding me.

"I can't take anymore" crying to myself. This wasn't a life anymore; it was just surviving. But how long can you just survive until you lose yourself, you might as well join the dead.
