Prologue

Misty Tora has been through it all. Shot, kidnapped, nearly murdered by her own fiancé, tortured by strangers, and learned secrets she wished she'd never known, Misty is beginning to regain her confidence, even though her fiancé and captor-turned-love-interest are both in prison.
Just as she gets home from being captured for almost half a year, Misty awakes in the night and feels unusually unsafe - like someone is watching her.
Her gut feeling is right. Someone has been watching her every move.
"Don't look behind you, pretty girl."
Now she finds herself kept hostage by a once close friend that has morphed into a deranged murderer.
Really only one question remains.
Why?

This is book 3 of The Intruder series. The last book was apparently pretty good and I thank you all for the reads and stars, even if it wasn't 1k or whatever. :)
