Prologue

Over the course of Apollyma's three-thousand-year existence, she had become disillusioned with finding the "love of her life" as it had eluded her all this time. However, as she sipped on her third positive blood, her mobile phone rang. On the other end of the line was an old friend, pleading for her assistance in battling a mysterious army of newborn vampires. With no particular commitments at the moment, Apollyma agreed to help, unaware that the little vampire seer sitting next to her father was beaming with a bright smile, foreseeing the future of the Greek vampire.
