Madeleine had done her part, she had done everything asked of her. But whilst Madeleine believed that her story was over, someone else's was very much alive. Isidora Morganach had started a journey that nobody else had been willing to follow, a path that was crumbling under the weight of the unknown. Madeleine had promised the keepers that she wouldn't go down the way Isidora did, but nobody else could bring Isidora's story to justice like she could. There was one truth that kept Isidora's path from crumbling into nothing: Isidora Morganach was wronged. Madeleine was doing this to avenge Isidora, but I suppose we will never know if Anne hadn't been a Sallow, would Madeleine still have been this determined to take away her pain? - All characters aged up
