Chapter One

"Why don't you just leave me alone?" she asks as I cage her between my arms up against a locker.

"Maybe I don't want to, Haley," I say, smirking.

She looks down and up and just about anywhere but my eyes. My fingers find the bottom of her chin, and I force her to look at me. "Or maybe it's because I love you."

I push off the lockers and walk away from her, leaving her with one thing on her mind. One thing that could ruin me, but maybe I don't care.
