His brother.
That was until my betrothed mysteriously died and I was left with nothing, my family ready to sell me off to the next noble who needs a bride.
So when Canutes fiance runs off to God knows where and leaves him to ascend the throne alone I make him a deal.
I was born to be a Queen, and I will get my crown no matter what happens.
