Wendy had moved away from her hometown years ago, abandoning her old friends and life in pursuit of a better future. She had been away for a long time, and she wasn't sure if she would ever see those old friends again. But suddenly, she had to move back, and she felt a sense of dread about seeing them again after so many years. She wasn't ready for this, and she was nervous about how they would react to her new life and new self.
