Prologue

High up in the unknown mountains of Elderburne there sits a small, unassuming village. The village of Emersdale
Seemingly stuck in time.

Not many people come here, and even fewer people leave. But yet they always come back, be it through tragedy or homesickness. No one leaves Emersdale forever

One day a soldier returns from battle with an unknown object. An object which gifts him with the ability to see the unseen.
To hear the songs of the unheard, and to conceive the inconceivable.

Will he find out the mystery of the forest? or will he simply be another body, having fallen victim to its predators?
