Chapter 1: Beginnings

At only 16 years old, Lauren Adams' world is turned upside down by the apocalypse. New creatures unravel the structures of society's humanity, and leave Lauren all alone, and terrified to venture outside. When supplies begin to run low, Lauren may have to face the challenge of fending for herself in the wilderness. What will happen when she encounters these monsters? Can she survive long enough to find the rumoured safe haven for survivors of the brutal take over?
