Layla

This is the story about Layla and Rick from the book June. This can also be read as a standalone story if you haven't already read June :)

Layla was always infatuated with her brother's best friend, Rick ever since she was in school. Rick was a tall Viking army man with tattoos adorning every inch of his body and a sharp beard. Everyone was intimidated by him, including Layla.
At 20, Layla was ready to graduate from a top university when she met Rick at her brother's party 3 years after he was in the army.
Sparks fly but Layla has a secret. A secret that might scare the terrifying man away. Or not.
