10 years ago, the Lawson family disappeared without a trace, seemingly into thin air. Upon the discovery of a hidden room, it reopens a decade later, and Harper Sloann, a low-ranking detective with a fascination for the macabre, takes on the case. It's just another task on the job, but things aren't as they seem, starting from the house, to the family, and the clues lurking in the shadows. Now, Harper must piece these truths together to give the Lawsons rest, all the while juggling secrets of her own.
