Description
Ryder was a kid dealing with internalized homophobia. He was a soccer nerd - his brother called him. He also was always keeping up in his classes, until Nathan decides to make an appearance. At first Ryder hates Nathan. Capital H. Nathan always made him feel wrong, disgusted, hateful towards himself. But Nathan tries, tries to get close to him, to be his friend. So Ryder tries to be his friend too. But one day Ryder gets so bad, he starts cutting himself. Nathan finds out and is horrified, him thinking he drove Ryder to it, broke away and stopped talking to him. But one day Nathan is driving, and sees Ryder, on a bridge. Now they are in the middle of their senior year. Secretly dating each other, in love, and they are happy.
