Description
In an alternate universe, the Flock doesn't exist. Max, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gazzy, and Angel all live separate lives across the U.S., but they have one thing in common: they all have wings. 16-year-old Maxine Martinez lives a peaceful life in Arizona with her veterinarian mother, Dr. Martinez, and her sister Ella. As far as her family knows, she's the only person on Earth with wings. Max knows differently; she follows the blog of a mysterious, winged boy known only as Fang. When a new post on the blog reveals that Fang is currently living in Arizona, a giddy Max reaches out and makes plans to meet in real life. But when Max arrives, Fang is nowhere to be found, and in his place are Erasers: mutant wolf-men that Max believed only existed in her nightmares. She then is saved by siblings Gazzy and Angel, who tell her that she needs to unite the flock in order to save Fang... and the entire world. And to do that... Max must become Maximum Ride.
