Extended Prologue | Copyright Statement

Madeleine has nothing left except herself after some mysterious masked men murder her family. She is held hostage by the group of which these men are a part. She cannot escape and she cannot tell anyone including the police, who work under the group's command.

Alone in this new world, she slowly discovers more about the group, it's name and what it does, not knowing who to put her absolute trust in. She trusts some, and loses trust in many. In the long run, she feels lonely until she unexpectedly falls head over heels for a boy, who might, just might save her from this living hell.
