Description
Noel is your average, run of the mill orphan boy. He's reckless, talkative, sarcastic, ocassionally self depreciating, and given his luck in the gene lottery, confident. Losing his parents before he ever met them never seemed to weigh down too hard on him. The orphanage was his home, and his home is where he's learned to love the good and the bad. The bad mostly being.. well.. how should I phrase this? Perhaps monsters is adequate? Noel sees monsters. He sees all kinds of monsters. From ghosts to oversized bugs to flesh eating entities. It's as if being orphaned and stupid wasn't a good enough reason to make his life miserable at the ripe age of 14. But even then, Noel has had enough. He has had enough of being alone, scared, and frightened. He is tired of waiting for something good to magically happen in his poor excuse of a life. What happens when the very thing he thinks is ruining his life could actually become one of the biggest joys in life? With this newfound possibility, Noel sets out to discover the world of monsters as well as surviving through his more than rugged teenage years. It won't be easy... ..but easy has never been a word in his vocabulary.
