First built in 1645, the mansion stood for decades before the tragedies began, as many locals know the Seven Tragedies of the Ladorum Triangle are: 1692: A grand soirée ends in tragedy as a massacre orchestrated by witch hunters burned the manor to the ground. 1765: Mass hysteria breaks out in the towns that surround the manor. Hundreds perished in the chaos. 1863: A mystery illness spreads among the area. Ladorum Manor becomes a hospital. Dozens died before they could find a cure. 1896: The Hayes paper mill catches fire during a drought, dozens perish in the fires. 1936: "Irate" Issac lures and murders 24 people within Ladorum Manor, blames his crimes and madness on a witch. 1961: A documentary crew comes to Ladorum Manor. The crew and the imposters claiming to be the Ladorum family vanish without a trace. 1986: High schoolers break onto the grounds, only the mess from their party remained. The countless claims of individuals sneaking onto the property over the years have also been prevalent, as some vanish without a trace, while others return to report nothing of interest happening. With all that has happened on and around these grounds, this reporter asks how could anyone want to host a reality show of all things here? In this year of 2011, Eighteen lucky and local winners will enter the supposedly cursed mansion to take part in a reality show for one week within the mansion grounds. The prize? Life-changing cash, of course! How will these contestants fare? Are the rumors false? Or will they become the eighth tragedy of the Triangle?
