It's the 50's and Arthur Trilby, an affluent and refined asset to the banking world has been found dead. His entire fortune has been given to his wife, a great surprise to her considering their distance within the marriage. In the presence of the endearing detective of the case, Aubrey starts to discover the second life her husband had lead. In the process becoming suspicious of a few people who had inserted themselves into her life before Arthur's death. On that same evening another women was alerted of the death.
