Mae has always watched Tom from afar, sitting next to him in lessons, watching his acting in drama and quietly admiring him and smiling at him in the corridor. The weird thing about being someone's classmate is, though, no matter who they are, over the five years you're at school for, you eventually get to know them. Mae and Tom are no different.
