Genevieve has only known cruelty. That is until she turns 15 and Eleazar Fig whisks her into a world of magic and wonder. But where there's light there's shadow. Evil lurks in the form of a rebel goblin and Genevieve must rely upon a strange Ancient Magic, her newfound friends, and the man who she is coming to see as a father to stop him.
