After being sent to prison under the accusation of a murder, they believe Carter Hale is a psychopath. A dangerous murderer. He was an impatient man, wanting to get revenge on the person who sent him to prison. His lawyer set him up with psychiatrist, an attempt to speed up his release process by proving his sanity but was he sane?

Amaryllis Bank, a psychiatrist struggling with her own problems, received one phone call from her boss, asking that she has private therapy sessions with a psychopath in prison. She could refuse but she needed the money. Could she write reports on a man to prove his sanity and let him out of his cage without getting fucked up herself?
