Description
Old-time sayings or what others might call proverbs are the staple of almost every Jamaican household. One is often times repeated serval times to create emphasis. I myself have heard my fair share of them non-stop, but the one my mother said the least was the one I learnt the hard way. If only the proverb "EVERYTHING THAT GLITTERS ISN'T GOLD" would have been repeated and stained my memory maybe what happened to me would have been avoided. A Jamaican Tale
