Chapter 1: Almost Fifty Grand

After taken from her home to force her mother to rake up cash, Tati is under the care of Killian Cermak. The nephew of one of the biggest mob bosses in the country. While Killian attempts to make sure Tati doesn't run, he also deals with the enemy determined to throw him under the bus for a crime his family never committed.
While Tati is kept in custody by the intimidating loan shark, tensions are high causing her to dislike him more and more yet he becomes more interested.
