Y/N Y/LN has been part of the Avengers since the start, she's battled against Loki, Ultron and Hydra. Now the team is her family and everybody loves her. One day the whole team disappears for a mission, half of them come back the next day, two weeks later the rest of the team, minus one. No one wants to tell her what happened. Steve Rogers, her best friend, comes back three whole months later, with a new guy: Steve's childhood best friend Bucky. That's when she finds out that her family has been in a Civil War, and because of Bucky. Tony still can't see past the Winter Soldier, but Y/N can't help but see the broken man full of pain and empty of memories. ______________________________________________ For the sake of my own sanity in this story Infinity War and Endgame do not happen. Also Pietro didn't die, Asgard did not get blown up and Loki is an Avenger. Scott also is an Avenger so let's pretend Cassie and her mother and the Pym family all live in New York :) ______________________________________________ "You shouldn't be here..." he says quietly. He's still avoiding your question, so instead you ask "Why not?" "I could hurt you..." he says in a small, sad voice that breaks your heart. "Would you hurt me?" you ask. He frowns and almost immediately says "of course not" still very quietly.
