"How dare you raise your filthy hand on her? How fucking dare you? She's my Queen! I will rip your hand off," He roared and twisted his hand back making him cry out in pain. "Avyaan," a whimper left from my mouth and that seemed to break his concentration. He ran to me and scooped me in his arms. "We will be out soon baby, please stay awake for me," He pleaded as he carried me out. My head spinned and I could only manage to raise my hand to touch his cheek as I rubbed his stubble beard. "I... I love you," I managed to choke out. "I am not going to say it back until you get well and come back to me. Don't you dare die," He warned as tears rolled down his cheeks and fell onto my face. "I won't," I promised him and myself before darkness consumed me.
