Chapter One: Once there was a fox

Sakura was always a clever girl. Always the top of her class even beating the Uchiha prodigy Sasuke. She built strong bonds with Naruto and Ino, always there for them only for them to leave her when she needed them the most.

Now 12 years old and trapped in a situation she can't avoid, she's forced into the root foundation watching over Naruto and Sasuke as a spy on team 7.
