did you know about black holes?

(on this earth) the stars are failing,
falling in on themselves (so many names-)
out in space (losing to their minds):
how huge were they, once upon a time?
and now it's a curse, (the weight is too much)
and so the stars collapse.

what remains is empty (dead eyes, cut hands)
and henceforth devours:

no purpose but to devour.
